A Virgo has gone quiet, and what he is doing in there

A Virgo going quiet is usually still working on it. That's the answer, and at eleven days it's the one worth having, because the silence you're reading as a verdict is much more often a process that hasn't finished. This sign doesn't withdraw to punish, and almost never to announce anything. It withdraws because the thinking got too big to run at the same time as talking to you.

That isn't the same as good news. I'll come to why.

Mutable earth, and why it produces a working silence

Virgo is earth, so everything in him lands in the practical. Whatever he concludes, he'll express it as something to do.

Virgo is also mutable, the modality of the end of a season, the part that adapts and hands over. A mutable sign doesn't take up a position. It keeps a question open and keeps improving its answer to it.

Put those together and you have the thing nobody explains about him. He isn't in there holding a decision he's declining to give you. He's in there holding a draft.

From your side of the phone those are indistinguishable, and one of them is finished while the other is live. Virgo is the live one far more often than the internet lets on.

And sometimes the review does land on a no. A Virgo no is quiet and reasoned and harder to argue with than a temper, because he'll have the workings to show you.

Why the obvious response goes wrong here

Not because it irritates him. Because of what it does to the file.

Four texts in eleven days hasn't wrecked anything. It has probably reset the count a couple of times, which is a smaller problem than the one you've been imagining.

What travels better is small and answerable. One thing he can reply to without opening the whole subject. He's much better at those than he is at feelings, and he knows it.

Where the sun sign gives out

His sun describes what he does with a problem. It says nothing about what the problem is costing him, and that's what you're really asking.

That lives in his moon, and behind a Virgo sun the moon can be anything. One version barely registers eleven days. Another hasn't slept properly since the Sunday and is running the same three sentences on a loop at four in the morning. Same method, same visible silence, two men in completely different fortnights.
